A lot has happened this past week here at the ranch.
We made it through the blizzard with all the cattle tucked away behind a line of trees that completely blocked the wind. The air was hardly moving where the herd decided to huddle up for the day.
Now, we’re getting ready for the next one (tomorrow).
It was a bit of a weird Christmas because COVID invaded the confines of our little island. No, it wasn’t the college students that brought it home. Nor was it the traveling salesman or the high school student.
It was the work-from-home, rarely-leaves-the-ranch person.
