Friday Night Lights: York's Snodgrass keeps himself on radar of Huskers and others

It was a moment that sticks, for sure. A moment on a Friday night last June when a football flung by a star-studded quarterback named Tristan Gebbia traveled its path toward a star-studded wide receiver named Joseph Lewis, who was being covered like a blanket by a star-studded cornerback known around here, simply, as Bookie.

That moment when two of the highest-ranked recruits in the country jumped for a football in the corner of the end zone, many might say, was a Husker Friday Night Lights camp in all its glory.

Hard to argue. But as the latest FNL camp went down in Memorial Stadium on Friday night, there was plenty of appeal to be found in watching some prospects closer to home — prospects lesser in attention but not in competitive drive — search for memorable moments of their own in front of Husker coaches.
