Derek Peterson, of Hail Varsity, wrote an article about the “ACT of football” test that Quarterbacks Coach Verduzco has all of his quarterbacks take throughout the year. Then after the test is over, which can take four hours, he cooks them a “Five Italian Course Wedding Feast.”
I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to be a quarterback for the University of Nebraska more than I do right now. No wonder Christian McCaffery’s brother committed here. We have an ace in the hole, and that is Coach Verduzco and his cooking.
Wouldn’t that be the greatest pitch to a prospective quarterback recruit?
