Milwaukee, Wisc. --The Nebraska women's tennis team completed day 1 of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. Freshmen Isabel Adrover Gallego and Kristina Novak had a clean sweep in both doubles and singles on the first day of competition.
Novak defeated the No. 14 seed of the tournament, Ana Neffa of USC 6 -4, 6-4. In the 2019 regular season, Neffa played predominately at No. 3 singles for the Trojans.
Fellow freshman Adrover Gallego also defeated a USC Trojan. In straight sets, Adrover Gallego picked up the 6-2, 6-2 win over Constance Branstine.
