Now that the Nebraska basketball season is officially underway, Fred Hoiberg is logging wins on and off the court. In addition to starting the 2025-26 campaign with a 2-0 record, the Huskers also notched another 4-star commitment in Jacob Lanier, as an addition to their 2026 recruiting class.
Lanier, a shooting guard out of Little Rock, Arkansas, announced his commitment Sunday to the Huskers, becoming the second player to join Nebraska's 2026 class. He joins forward Colin Rice, who is also a 4-star prospect out of Waukee, Iowa.
