Fresh off getting their first commit of the 2026 class, Fred Hoiberg and the Nebraska basketball team have set their sights on another talented hooper in Jacob Lanier.

Lanier is a 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard out of Parkview Magnet (Little Rock, AR) who is the No. 2 player in Arkansas, the No. 27 shooting guard, and the No. 98 player overall in the 2026 class according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. Last month, he took home the Top 30 MVP award at the Pangos All-American Camp, showing that he is indeed one of the best players in the class who is still uncommitted.
