The Nebraska football team is getting ready for the upcoming season. So is a former Husker, Ameer Abdullah. The man affectionately known as El Guapo has himself a new lease on his NFL life.
Abdullah, who has been in the league since 2015, posted a career-best season in 2024 with the Las Vegas Raiders. He posted career highs in rushes (66), rushing yards (311), receptions (40), longest rush (40), and receiving touchdowns (3). He did all that despite suffering a season-ending injury in December. Abdullah has seemingly recovered from the foot injury he suffered last December.
