Early in the 2024 season Ty Robinson and Huskers grad assistant Jack Potenza decided to celebrate a big play with a leaping hip bump which resulted in Potenza being launched like a Fairbury Frank shot from Der Wienerschlinger. (The two settled for simple handshakes going forward.)
Such coach-threatening displays may be back on the table as it was just announced Mike Ekeler will be returning to Lincoln for another go, this time as the Special Teams Coordinator.
