Former Husker wide receiver Brandon Reilly joins Cowboys' practice squad

If he doubts himself in that regard, he need only look to the locker next to his.

Reilly on Tuesday joined the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad after the team made a couple roster moves to account for an injury to receiver Allen Hurns. The Cowboys elevated Lance Lenoir to the active roster, freeing a spot for Reilly, a Lincoln Southwest graduate.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Reilly, who made 21 catches for Nebraska in 2016, had spent the last two weeks of the 2018-19 regular season on the Detroit Lions' practice squad.

"I had hurt my (leg) earlier in the season working out for the Saints," Reilly told the Journal Star on Tuesday night.
