You probably read Brian’s article yesterday about Husker football schedules for 2020 and 2021. They, GASP, do not include Black Friday football to end the regular season.
We all knew Iowa was not thrilled with the Friday date when the Huskers joined the Big Ten and it appears those heathens to the east got their way. Not only did they weasel their way out of playing on Black Friday, but are not our “rival” anymore. The Huskers close out the 2020 and 2021 seasons with Minnesota. (Which moves their traditional rivalry game against Wisconsin for Paul Bunyan’s Axe to a different weekend).
