Five members of the Nebraska rifle team were honored with Scholastic All-American honors from the College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) on Friday.
The athletes that were honored were Emily Cheramie, Elena Flake, Payton Fry, Cecelia Ossi and Mackenzie Strauch. This marked the second time that Cheramie, Flake and Ossi have recieved this award, and the first time that Fry and Strauch have been honored.
To earn the award, a student-athlete must have maintained at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (GPA).
