The first Nebraska Cornhuskers practice has ended and, other than injury updates, there’s no real surprises or announcements; it’s almost a continuation of Big 10 Football Media Days as far as just every thing being happy days ahead.
Don’t get me wrong. Seeing everyone in the shorts and the pads, multiple stations going - the energy can be felt, and for the first time, kickoff feels close. Sure, it’s only been a few days since Vegas, but the season doesn’t exactly seem like it’s around the corner when you’re hanging out in Mandalay Bay wandering among the miles of slot machines.
