The sun’s heat and summer’s upcoming arrival bring plenty of events to Lincoln.
One of them, a fairly new addition, is the Lincoln Open for the Professional Women’s Bowling Association tour.
The PWBA is in its second year after relaunching, and Sun Valley Lanes has been a stop on the tour each year.
While the lanes off West O Street are tied for the smallest venue on the PWBA tour, last year’s event was at capacity and it’s expected to meet those expectations this year.
Sunday’s open pro-am is expected to draw many local residents and give them an opportunity to bowl with the professionals.
