Because he's the starting quarterback for the Nebraska football team, Dylan Raiola gets the majority of the spotlight before, during, and after games. However, the signal caller wants everyone to understand that he has a very talented supporting cast. In particular, after the Huskers win over Cincinnati, Raiola went out of his way to single out running back Emmett Johnson, who could be poised for a monster 2025 season.
Johnson split time with Dante Dowdell in 2024, but the latter moved on to Kentucky in the transfer portal this offseason. It was thought that the returning back would get the bulk of the carries, but even head coach Matt Rhule didn't think he'd get all but two carries against the Bearcats.
