It feels as though the Nebraska football season is teetering on the edge. If the Huskers win on Saturday against Northwestern, they improve to 6-2 and reverse what's been a concerning trend under Matt Rhule when his teams get to five wins. Lose, and that trend continues, and everyone gets very, very nervous.
It's not just fans who were concerned over a bad loss to a mediocre Minnesota team last Friday. Cornhuskers quarterback Dylan Raiola confirmed he and his teammates held a "players only meeting" after the 24-6 loss. Raiola has spent this season showing he's a leader, and the announcement of the meeting was another sign of that.
