Scott Frost isn't the only one picking up awards for Central Florida's unbeaten season.

Zach Duval, Nebraska's new head strength coach and a Lincoln native, was named the 2017 Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year by the website FootballScoop.com on Thursday.

Duval, who spent the past two years at UCF with Frost, grew up around the NU program. He worked with Boyd Epley in the strength program and his father, Rick, was an assistant on Tom Osborne's first coaching staff here.

Frost told FootballScoop, "Zach deserves this award. The transformation of our team in two years that he has engineered is unbelievable.
