1. Omaha trumps Lincoln in terms of number of good restaurants and eateries. No offense to anyone, but it's not close. Omaha's just bigger, with more diversity.

Plus, Omaha has at least two other advantages: more full-service hotels, and a convention center connected to the CenturyLink Center.

We mention full-service hotels and the convention center because those are the assets that best explain why Omaha can play host to NCAA first- and second-round men's basketball games, as well as the women's volleyball final four, and why Lincoln is unable.
