1. Perhaps you noticed Nebraska's prevalence in the way-too-early Top 25s that came out last month. Yeah, the Huskers finished 4-8 last season. Even so, many folks are expecting a big jump from Scott Frost's crew in 2019.
Nebraska's spring practice begins March 4 and ends with the April 13 Red-White Spring Game. We'll have a better idea if the Huskers are worthy of the preseason buzz following spring ball.
My skepticism would subside if Nebraska shows it can be strong in two of the three main areas of the game -- offense, defense and special teams.
