ESPN announced yesterday that the Nebraska Cornhuskers are a school who is falling apart in high school recruiting like a Jenga tower with a bacon treat embedded in a family room full of Golden Retriever pups.
Now, if I’m honest, in this day and age of the transfer portal, high school recruiting and the development of those kids means waaaaay less than it did even three years ago. Unless these guys are seeing the field pretty regularly by the end of their sophomore year, it has become sensible to hit the portal for that starting position next year.
