Dear Husker Fans,
Our campus has been rocking with activity and positive energy this October, with 5,000 students attending the free Brad Paisley concert adjacent to Memorial Stadium on October 13th, four straight volleyball wins in the Devaney Center, including a sweep over No. 4 Wisconsin and a five-match win over No. 3 Minnesota in a Final Four type setting; and three victories by our football team including a road win at Indiana.
Our soccer team defeated Iowa in its last home regular-season match at Hibner Stadium last Wednesday and saluted four outstanding seniors: Courtney Claassen (Parkville, Missouri), Caroline Flynn (Lincoln, Nebraska), Jaycie Johnson, who scored the only goal in the game for the win (Lake Winnebago, Missouri) and Sydney Miramontez (Lenexa, Kansas).
