'Confidence through demonstrated ability' key for Huskers ahead of Ohio State trip

Greg Austin was talking about his offensive line unit, but he could have been discussing the entire Nebraska football team, considering the subject at hand.

In the middle of last week, after NU put 659 offensive yards and 53 points on Minnesota and before it easily dispatched FCS foe Bethune-Cookman, the first-year offensive line coach and former Husker said his group had connected a lot of dots.

At some level, the reason for improvement is intricate and detail oriented. Scheme familiarity. Footwork. Hand placement. Hitting landmarks. So on and so forth.

In other ways, though, it can be much more general.
