Coaches pick Nebraska No. 2 in preseason Big Ten volleyball poll

The Nebraska volleyball team is ranked No. 2 in the Big Ten Conference preseason poll released on Monday as decided by a vote of the league coaches.

Wisconsin is No. 1 in the poll. Minnesota, the league champion last year, is No. 3. Penn State is No. 4 and Illinois No. 5.

Setter; 5-10; So. Hometown: Maryville, Tennessee. She set the Huskers to within a few points of winning the national championship last season as a freshman. Hames also had a great all-around game, ranking second on the team in ace serves (40) and digs (441).
