Black Friday brings you the deal of the year, Nebraska vs Penn State in volleyball. These two teams stand atop the Big Ten Standings and are the only two teams that can still win the Conference Championship. The Huskers will clinch their second straight outright Big Ten title with a win over the Nittany Lions on Friday.
Nebraska has beaten everyone in the conference except Penn State so far. Penn State has beaten everyone except Nebraska and Wisconsin. The Nittany Lion were swept by the Badgers on November 9th.
If logic were the name of the game then Nebraska, having just swept Wisconsin, should be a clear favorite to not only beat but sweep Penn State, but the name of the game is volleyball and as Coach John Cook likes to say “the game has no memory”.
