This season ended earlier than Kyndal Clark would have liked, as the fifth-year senior on the Nebraska women’s basketball team was done in by two bad knees.
Clark is grateful she got this one-year opportunity at Nebraska, though. The chance to prove she could play for a team in a big-time conference, the chance to play one more year after a major knee injury ended her final season at Drake, the chance to hit a big three-pointer in a game again, flash a big smile and get back on defense.
Clark made the decision about a week ago that her extreme knee pain was too much and the risk to continue playing too great.
