Burroughs, a four-time world champion and a 2012 Olympic gold-medalist, will be competing in his sixth World Cup. He is 23-0 in his previous five World Cup appearances (2002, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017).
Burroughs will compete at 74 kilograms (163 pounds). Former Husker James Green (70 kg/154 pounds) and Omaha Skutt and Iowa graduate Thomas Gilman (57 kg/125 1/2 pounds) will also compete at the World Cup.
