Five Husker football coaches have recently signed contract extensions that, in a couple of cases, also include salary increases, as Nebraska is set to again pay six assistants at least $400,000 a year.
Linebackers coach Trent Bray, defensive line coach John Parrella, wide receivers coach Keith Williams, offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh and running backs coach Reggie Davis all have updated deals that now run through Jan. 31, 2019, according to contracts received by the Journal Star upon request.
For the second straight year, Bray also received a significant salary hike with his new contract, which was signed Feb.
