It seemed like Deja vu all over again as the game started on Saturday. Nebraska was hitting fly ball after fly ball, albeit getting a lot of the barrel, and when they did get a runner on, failed to move them around and in.
Minnesota again, got the first run of the game, this time in the second inning. Two bloop hits put runners on 2nd and 3rd, before a single got them on the board 1-0.
They didn’t stop there though, as outfielder Drew Berkland homered to deep left and retied teammate Weber Neels (who did the exact same thing yesterday to the Huskers), for the team lead at 12 home runs on the season.
