Big Red Travel to Oklahoma for ITA Regionals

The Nebraska men's tennis team is set to compete at the ITA Central Region Championships at the Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman, Okla. from Oct. 24-28. The competition will feature players from 16 teams in the Central Region. The tournament format is a 128-player singles draw and a 64-team doubles draw.

In last year's regionals, senior Chris Dean, sophomore William Gleason and sophomore Victor Moreno Lozano all saw action. Lozano reached the round of 32 as a freshman, while Dean and Gleason made it to the round of 64.

The three aforementioned Huskers will reprise their roles at this year's regionals, joining junior Patrick Cacciatore and the four-man freshman class of Andre Saleh, Shunya Maruyama, Albert Sprlak-Puk and Chester Wickwire in singles play.
