This is usually the time of year where I start to get pumped, where I pen some sort of motivational screed that gets Husker fans ready to run through a wall. I’m sure that day will come, but right now all I’m doing is holding my breath.
Holding my breath because I genuinely have no clue how the season will go this year. Will Nebraska make a breakthrough? Will Nebraska do the thing we’ve gotten so used to them doing in recent years (not make a breakthrough)? WILL THERE EVEN BE A SEASON?!
So my wife has to occasionally remind me to take a breath.
