Basketball coaches Tim Miles, Greg McDermott and Derrin Hansen have teamed up for a common cause, as all three of the state’s Division I men’s basketball programs will be featured at the Coaches vs. Cancer Hoops for Hope event on Thursday, May 14 in Omaha.
The event takes place at Champions Run Golf Course (13800 Eagle Run Drive) from 6 to 9 p.m., and includes hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, a live auction and a chance to interact with the coaches and their staffs. Some of the featured auction items include an opportunity to play golf with your favorite coach as well as a unique basketball gameday experience with your favorite team.
