Bad fourth quarter costs Nebraska women in loss at Michigan

The Nebraska women’s basketball team had a bad fourth quarter in a 67-61 loss against Michigan on Thursday in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Nebraska led 51-48 with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, but then went about 5 ½ minutes without scoring, allowing Michigan to take a 58-51 lead and hold on for the win.

Nebraska had five turnovers in the fourth quarter, which Michigan scored five points on, and missed the Huskers missed 12 field goals.

Michigan wasn’t great on offense in the fourth quarter, either, but made 15-of-21 free throws in the fourth quarter.
