Carol Frost — mother of Nebraska football coach Scott Frost and the coach of the Huskers' women's track and field team from 1977-80 — was inducted into the Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday at Memorial Stadium.

“One is the Olympic opening ceremonies. You can’t top that as an athlete; it was an awesome experience,” said the newly minted Nebraska Athletics Hall of Famer and the mother of Husker football coach Scott Frost.
