A big turnaround season for the Nebraska women’s basketball team earned coach Amy Williams a raise.
Starting on July 1 Williams' base salary will be $626,750. She had been making $575,000. Her contract was also extended one year to April 30, 2023.
When Williams was hired she received a five-year contract for $575,000 annually. She received a one-year extension after her first season, but no raise.
Athletic director Bill Moos was impressed with how the team improved after a difficult transition season.
