Nebraska is heading into Week 2 with a 1-0 record and a big power conference win over the Cincinnati Bearcats. Now the Cornhuskers will head back to the great state of Nebraska to take on Akron in Week 2, and hopefully move to 2-0.
Nebraska looked solid in its game against Cincinnati, but definitely not perfect. The offensive line, especially the left tackle position, needs to be solidified, and the run game needs more than just Emmitt Johnson.
So heading into Week 2, those need to be the biggest points of emphasis for this team and work to better those areas so that they can be ready for Big Ten play in a few weeks.
