The dedication of Ace's Place Playground at Bowlin Stadium is set to take place on Saturday, April 16. The dedication of the memorial playground and ribbon cutting will begin at 12:15 p.m. prior to the Nebraska vs. Minnesota softball game at 1 p.m.
Ace's Place honors the legacy of Ace Michael Moudy, who attended his first Nebraska Softball game with his parents MIke and Megan Moudy the day before he unexpectedly passed away in April 2019. Megan Moudy, formerly Megan Southworth, played softball at Nebraska and Mike Moudy played football.
