As Memorial Stadium public address announcer, his voice has become a familiar sound to the thousands and thousands of fans at Nebraska home football games.
But Rohr experienced a new platform -- the biggest football platform -- to lend his voice last Sunday.
The Beatrice native filled in as the second PA announcer for the Kansas City Chiefs, a team Rohr has rooted for since he was a child.
"Oh, my goodness, it was so cool," Rohr said Saturday just a couple hours before Nebraska kicked off against Purdue. "Just bouncing around Arrowhead Stadium, especially with as well as they're playing right now .
