The 2019 Heisman Trophy Race isn’t much of a race. LSU QB Joe Burrow is the clear-cut favorite and winner, with the real question being by just how much he wins. Three others players were Heisman finalists and were invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York: Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts and Ohio State’s QB Justin Fields and DE Chase Young. It’s rare for a defensive player to get the invite, but here we are.
So which player will win this year’s Heisman Trophy? The favorites entering the year were Trevor Lawrence and Tua Tagovailoa (the runner-up last year), but Lawrence struggled to start and Tua was injured. And maybe more intriguing is that race for 2nd and to see if Burrow will go down as the largest Heisman winner ever in terms of votes. OJ Simpson had the most 1st place votes ever, but what about biggest margin?
The ceremony is being televised on ESPN. So, if you can't get to a TV, don't have Cable or it's just not available in your area, here are some other options for you this week to watch the Heisman Trophy ceremony online:
