The pool of candidates to be the starting quarterback for Wisconsin in 2019 has shrunk by one, but the intrigue about the eventual starter has increased significantly.
School officials announced Wednesday that Alex Hornibrook, who started 32 games during the previous three seasons, has left the program. Hornibrook said he will continue his career at another school.
“Alex informed us of his decision to leave the team earlier today,” Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst said in a release.
