WATCH: Cardale Jones throws ball 74 yards during contest

It’s no secret that Ohio State boasts a lot of depth at quarterback. The competition for the team’s starting QB role is a hot topic in Columbus, and if arm strength were the deciding factor, let’s just say junior Cardale Jones would probably run away with the job. 

At today’s spring game, the Buckeyes held a “Longest Ball” competition to see how far their quarterbacks could sling it. Not surprisingly, Jones can sling it quite far.

Seventy-four yards with accuracy and authority to be exact.
