We just had a repeat of “The Prayer at Jordan Hare” during this year’s Iron Bowl. Auburn wide receiver Jason Smith just went over the middle, tipped a high throw over a closing Alabama defender, darted forward to make the catch and dashed the rest of the way for an incredible 77-yard touchdown.
Smith’s score cut Alabama’s lead to 19-13 and awakened the Auburn crowd.
