ATHENS - Terry Godwin, who missed has missed the last few practices with an injury, will return soon according to a source familiar with the situation.
Godwin has what is being described by that insider as a “just a little stinger on his shoulder”, and he is considered “day-to-day”.
Godwin was injured on a goal-line drill over the weekend. The injury is said to be “not that serious” because after the freshman was injured he caught a touchdown in his next rep.
“He caught a touchdown on the very next play,” the source added. Holding Godwin out is seen as a “precautionary measure.
