Seriously, UConn. What the hell? This was a game-tying attempt with less than a minute left. pic.twitter.com/LrNbqw2j1Y

With a chance to extend the game and potentially pull off a stunning road upset over the Missouri Tigers, the Connecticut Huskies opted instead to go for the win on a trick play.

It didn't work.

Trailing 9-6 with 53 seconds to play, the Huskies lined up in field-goal formation on 4th-and-4 from the Mizzou 25-yard line. However, they would not go for the game-tying field goal.

UConn's Tim Boyle threw the ball up for his target, but it was lofted into triple coverage.
