Nine 20-win seasons helped make "AK" the winningest coach in the history of Ole Miss basketball. But in the ultra-high-stakes world of Power 5 hoops, even that was not enough to appease university officials, who denied Kennedy a contract extension heading into the final year of his deal in 2017.
