ORLANDO, Fla. -- After winning the 2016 Arnold Palmer Invitational by a stroke over Kevin Chappell, Jason Day got to visit some rarefied historical air with a legend. He got to have a drink with Arnold Palmer.
There are photos commemorating the event. Day said it was a special, all-time moment for him. He also said he felt absolutely wasted afterwards.
“[I was] having the celebratory drink with him ... I felt like I was drinking a whole bottle of Ketel One because that’s obviously his favorite thing,” said Day on Wednesday.
