Take everything you think you know about spring football and forget it.

Coaches on the inside of major college programs are happy to divulge what most people think about the 15 allotted practice sessions that end in a televised scrimmage in front of thousands is either wrong or at best, misguided.

“I could go over the depth chart, but I saw where you all had already printed one,’ Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele said on March 29. “It’s wrong, but you printed it anyway.
