After three weeks of college football, we’re now beginning to better understand who some of these teams actually are on the football field. And four different top-25 matchups this past weekend helped in our findings. Of the five teams that made up last week’s list, one fell – and another may follow suit this weekend. It’s clear there are some things that don’t add up in this week’s Coaches’ Poll. But other things make perfect sense.
Stanford, after dropping out of the rankings following an opening weekend loss to Northwestern, battled its way through the Coliseum and back into the top-25 discussion.
