Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler were killed in a car accident on Sunday morning.
Kevin Cole of the Omaha World-Herald reported Foltz's death, with Nebraska chancellor Ronnie Green saying the accident occurred while he "was on his way home from a football camp at the University of Wisconsin."
Jon Johnston of Corn Nation reported that Sadler was killed in the same accident. Michigan State head football coach Mark Dantonio offered condolences to his former player on Twitter:
