DETROIT — The Maryland Terrapins and Boston College Eagles will square off Monday afternoon in the 2016 Quick Lane Bowl.
For nearly a decade, the programs were members of the ACC's Atlantic Division before conference alignment shuffled Maryland to the Big Ten. Boston College won seven of those nine matchups between 2005 and 2013, including the last three.
Both Maryland and Boston College enter the season-ending showdown at 6-6. The Terps are seeking their first bowl victory since 2010, while the Eagles haven't won a postseason game in nine years.
ESPN will televise the matchup at 2:30 p.
