DETROIT — The Central Michigan Chippewas and Minnesota Golden Gophers will square off in the 2015 Quick Lane Bowl.
Central Michigan (7-5, 6-2 MAC) won four of its last five games to earn bowl eligibility for the fourth straight year.
Despite managing two victories in October and November combined, Minnesota (5-7, 2-6 Big Ten) slid into a bowl game due to a shortage of six-win teams. The program has lost seven straight postseason contests.
