Protest over, Ole Miss players stand for anthem

OXFORD, Miss. - All 15 players on the Ole Miss basketball team stood during the playing of the national anthem before Wednesday's tip-off with No. 7 Tennessee.

Cheers erupted from fans inside The Pavillion and a few players clapped after the finishing of the anthem and before player introductions began.

On Saturday, eight Ole Miss players knelt during the anthem in response to a pro-Confederacy rally near the arena before the Rebels' 72-71 win over Georgia.
